35 Fun Facts About Me

  1. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature.  My minor was in Journalism.
  2. I will read the same book over and over and watch the same movie over and over.
  3. I have my motorcycle license.
  4. I’ve been sky diving.
  5. I am the middle child of three girls.
  6. I put ranch dressing on my mac & cheese.
  7. My mom is one of 10 children.  I have 23 first cousins on her side of the family!
  8. My husband and I only dated for seven months before we got engaged, and then we were engaged for another seven months before getting married.  We’ve been married now for nine years.
  9. I can’t whistle.
  10. I wear a splint/mouth guard at night due to TMJ.
  11. It’s never too cold for ice cream or too hot for coffee.
  12. I am an introvert and happiest at home.
  13. I love to organize.
  14. I’ve been on mission trips to South Dakota, Mexico, and Africa.
  15. Other places I’ve traveled outside of the states include Puerto Rico, Spain, France, Italy, and Croatia.
  16. I have very fine, straight hair.
  17. I’m left-handed, as in I write and use utensils with my left hand, but I do everything else with my right.  I play sports, use scissors, etc. with my right.  I can put makeup on with both hands.
  18. I almost always have a black hairband around my wrist.
  19. I’m a huge movie buff.
  20. In college, I was a copy editor for our school newspaper, The Royal Purple.
  21. I pierced my belly button when I was 18, but only kept it for a few years.
  22. I hate to cook.
  23. I have donated my hair to Locks of Love.
  24. I’ve been zip lining in Puerto Rico.
  25. I’ve been parasailing in Florida.
  26. I’ve been in community theater.
  27. I love dancing, shows about dancing, movies about dancing…
  28. If I could have any job in the world, I would want to be a professional ballroom dancer.
  29. I’m a huge Disney fan.
  30. I love 80’s memorabilia.
  31. I’m a hopeful romantic.
  32. I’m a perfectionist.
  33. I’m a major girly girl.
  34. My oldest daughter is named after her great-grandmother from Puerto Rico.
  35. I love the smell of old books and prefer real books over digital ones.
